Ignas Junevičius is a renewable energy and business management professional responsible for renewable energy, energy system flexibility, electrification, and the promotion of energy investments. 

Before joining the ministry, he headed the Renewable Energy Centre at Litgrid, the electricity transmission system operator, where he was responsible for renewable energy source development and contributed to improving RES regulatory policy and the investment environment in the country. 

I. Junevičius holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.
