Airidas Daukšas

Airidas Daukšas is a lawyer with extensive experience in energy law and legislation. Prior to assuming the role of Vice Minister of Energy, A. Daukšas accumulated over six years of professional experience at the National Energy Regulatory Council, most recently serving as Senior Advisor in the Legal Department and concurrently as Acting Director of the Gas and Electricity Department. 

He was previously employed in the private sector as a lawyer for a period of two years. Moreover, he has acquired experience in project management, having worked as a project coordinator in the Lithuanian office of Transparency International.

A. Daukšas is a graduate of Mykolas Romeris University, where he obtained both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees. His specialisations include civil law, legislation, legal analysis and energy sector regulatory issues.
