Centre for Physical and Technology Sciences
The Centre for Physical Sciences and Technology (FTMC) is Lithuania‘s largest research institution carrying out unique research and development in laser technologies, optoelectronics, nuclear physics, organic chemistry, bio- and nanotechnologies, electrochemical material science, functional materials, electronics, etc. It is a centre for research on the highest level and for development of state-of-the-art technologies for both businesses and society.
Environmental research and energy are among the six main competences developed by the centre.
