Energy Audits

The obligation for energy audits is provided in Republic of Lithuania Law on Energy Efficiency.

The audit is compulsory only for companies registered in the Republic of Lithuania and carrying on an economic activity in its territory.

Compulsory auditing apply only for those large enterprises that meet one of two criteria:

1. the annual average number of employees is more than 250;
2. the company's annual income exceeds 50 million and the value of the assets indicated in the balance sheet of the company exceeds 43 million euro.

At least 80% of all buildings, equipment, technological processes and vehicles belonging to the large enterprise must be analyzed when auditing.
